Japanese
Chrysanthemums, waves, koi, dragons — designs that flow with the body.

About Japanese
Japanese tattooing (Irezumi) is one of the oldest and most respected tattoo traditions in the world. It's defined by its relationship to the body — designs flow with muscle and bone structure, using the body's natural contours as part of the composition.
Kyla draws from Japanese iconography and composition principles while bringing her own color sensibility. Chrysanthemums, peonies, koi fish, dragons, waves, and wind bars are rendered with respect for the tradition but through a contemporary lens.
Japanese-style pieces are designed to work at every scale — from a single chrysanthemum on the forearm to full sleeves and back pieces that tell a complete visual story.

Japanese-style tattoos with heavy saturation heal solidly. The bold linework and structured composition mean these tattoos age exceptionally well. Multiple sessions allow proper healing between sittings.
